The purpose of this event is to:
Help participants learn about touristship, and provide them with specific actions to take in each region,
so that they can become travelers whom locals are delighted to see.

ツーリストシップの認知度を高めるべく、観光客の方とは現地と絡めたクイズを通じて多くの交流ができ、異年齢でのボランティア活動はそれぞれの経験や知識を借りて、自然と補い合いながら広報活動に務められた点に大変充足感がありました。
八坂神社 参加
今回初めての参加でした。スタート寸前までナーバスになっていましたが、ゲストの方達の明るさにつられ、逆にリラックスさせて頂きました。感謝です。

Nationwide “TD Quiz"
The Travel Destination Quiz is not only conducted locally but also held once a year as a nationwide collaborative event across Japan. The next event will take place on October 25, 2025 (Saturday). We welcome anyone interested to get in touch with us for details.
How to Participate
Participation is free, and no reservation is required. We pour our heart into making it enjoyable, so you're guaranteed to have a fun time!
By joining, you’ll also learn about touristship and the local area! This knowledge helps you travel with confidence, avoiding unintentional harm or misunderstandings.

２．Improvement of Cross-Cultural Communication Skills：
Travelers' backgrounds vary by location, and you'll have the opportunity to interact with people from different countries. This is especially recommended for those who want to practice speaking Chinese, French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, and more!
You can join as a volunteer for just one event or as frequently as you'd like. If you enjoy it, feel free to come every time or once a month. We look forward to welcoming more members to our team!

Currently, we are expanding only within Japan, but we believe that this type of interactive manners awareness initiative is needed in tourist destinations around the world. If you're a DMO or a local government interested in hosting this event in your country or region, we would be happy to hear from you. Below are the benefits of hosting a TDquiz event.
①Improved Manners
目Direct communication in person, the fun atmosphere created by the TDquiz, and the alignment with the concept of touristship will lead to meaningful behavior change and improved manners.
②Direct Survey
After the quiz, we conduct a survey. Thanks to the quiz's ability to attract participants, we can gather more responses and conduct interviews compared to traditional street surveys.
③Involvement of Locals
Not only can you show a strong commitment to promoting good manners, but by involving local residents as volunteer staff, you can create opportunities for interaction between travelers and locals.
