We’re pleased to share the recording of the session where our representative, Chieko Tanaka, spoke at the Destinations International Annual Convention 2026 in Portland, Oregon, USA.

Under the theme “Touristship in Action: How Destinations Can Champion Responsible Travel,” she introduced the concept of Touristship and shared practical initiatives being implemented across Japan.

It was a valuable opportunity to introduce Touristship to DMOs (Destination Management Organizations) and tourism professionals from around the world and exchange ideas on responsible travel.
